Out of all eight planets, one zips around the Sun faster than any other because it's the closest one to it.
Mercury is correct because it orbits closer to the Sun than any other planet, so it has a much shorter path and gets pulled around faster by the Sun's gravity, completing one full trip in only about 88 days.
Mars and Neptune are both much farther from the Sun, so they take a lot longer to circle it — Neptune, the farthest planet, takes about 165 Earth years for one orbit.
Even though Mercury is closest to the Sun, it isn't the hottest planet — that title goes to Venus, because its thick clouds trap heat like a blanket!
